1. What we use
Most Toolember tools work without any cookies. We use cookies and similar browser storage only where needed, in these categories:
- Essential (sign-in): when you sign in, a secure session cookie (
better-auth.session_token, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) keeps you logged in. Dynamic QR also uses your browser's local storage to remember codes you created. These cannot be turned off without breaking the feature. - Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity help us understand usage (pages, performance). See our Privacy Policy.
- Advertising: where display ads are shown, the ad provider (Google AdSense) may set cookies to serve and measure ads.
2. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential sign-in cookies will simply stop you staying logged in. Where required by law, non-essential (analytics/ads) cookies are used based on your consent, which you can change via your browser or any consent prompt shown.
3. Third parties
Cookies set by third parties (Google, Microsoft) are governed by their own policies. The services we rely on are listed on our Sub-processors page.
